Funeral service for Doris C. Floyd, 82, of Anniston, will be 1 pm Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Don Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am - 1 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Floyd passed away on Sunday at NHC.

Survivors include her two sons, Danny Floyd and David (Rose) Muncher, two grandchildren, Heather Floyd and Bryan Floyd, sister, Vickie Cattlett and brother, James Copeland.

Mrs. Floyd is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas M. Floyd, father, W.B. Copeland, mother, Anna Mae Copeland, brothers, Jimmy and Billy Copeland.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Floyd was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Bynum Leatherwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Floyd was a greeter at Walmart in Oxford. The family would like to celebrate Mrs. Floyd's life as a festive occasion and ask everyone to wear bright colors to the service.
