A Memorial Service for Mrs. Gloria Trusch Witt of Anniston will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Craig Memorial United Methodist Church, 175 John Wills Ave., Eastaboga, AL 36260 with Dr. Harris Hand, Stanley Ford and Ida Trusch officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Witt passed away at Anniston RMC after a short illness.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Witt Turner (Chip) and Carrie Witt Brown (Ike); grandchildren, Warren Preskitt (Sheena) and Wittney Brown; great-grandchild, Cash Preskitt; brother, H.F....

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Witt Turner (Chip) and Carrie Witt Brown (Ike); grandchildren, Warren Preskitt (Sheena) and Wittney Brown; great-grandchild, Cash Preskitt; brother, H.F. Ivey (late wife, Missy); sister-in-law, Marion "Tess" Cage; nephew, David Ivey (Jacquie); niece, Frances Collins (Jerry) and her cousin, Ida Trusch, Katharine Gilbert and Andrew James Maggard and many cherished friends.

Mrs. Witt is preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Witt; her mother, Martha Trusch Ivey; father, Horace Trusch; and her step-father, Henry F. Ivey.

Mrs. Witt was a very special mother and grandmother. She had a passion for antiques and Auburn football. Gloria enjoyed life and her many friends will miss her witty sense of humor. She was a lifelong member of the VFW and member of the Moose Chapter 1539. She was a Methodist by faith.
