Graveside services for Joyce Bannister Mathis, 84, of Anniston will be Saturday at 10:00 am at Maple Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Mathis passed away Thursday in Oxford.
Survivors include her daughter Deborah Baker of Anniston, sisters Linda Sprayberry of Anniston, Mary Halliday of Eastaboga, grandson Joseph Baker, great grandchildren Alissa Wood, Chandler Brock, Logan Baker, niece Shelia Gann, nephews Clinton Sprayberry and Clayton Sprayberry and several great nieces and nephews, and several lifelong friends.
Mrs. Mathis is preceded in death by her mother Cleo Cadenhead, father Russell Bannister, step-father Farron Cadenhead, sister Jean Vaughn, nephew Darrell...

Pallbearers will be Johnny Sprayberry, Clayton Sprayberry, Keith Gann, Rusty Gann, Christopher Gann, Joseph Baker.
Mrs. Mathis was longtime resident of Calhoun County. She retired from FMC and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a collector of Antiquities.
In Lieu of Flowers memorial may be made to American Cancer Society of the Hospice of your choice.
