Funeral service for Richard Eugene "Paw Paw" Brimer, 77, of Anniston, will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 - 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Brimer passed away on Friday at RMC.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Eugene Brimer (Brenda) and Jereme Kevin Brimer (Sonya), grandchildren, Ashlie Morgan Barnes (Bradley), Kaylyn Jennifer Brimer, Stephanie Salers, Amy Nail, Stacy Stovall, Gregory Kirby and Joshua Kirby, great-grandchildren, Gavin Barnes,...

Mr. Brimer is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Sue Brimer, sons, Jamie Lyn Brimer and Gerry Lee Brimer.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Brimer was a native of Cleburne County and a resident of Calhoun County for most of his life. He attended Harvest Church of God. Mr. Brimer retired from Anniston Army Depot and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Brimer was an avid fisherman and was a big Jeff Gordon fan.
