Funeral Services for Tyla H. McKenzie, 54, of Ohatchee, will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Larry Ward and Rev. Butch Suddath officiating. Visitation will be held Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. McKenzie passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Greg McKenzie; sons, Allen McKenzie and Scott McKenzie; mother, Scottye Wallace (Junior); brother, Jason Howard (Christina); step-brother, Michael Wallace (Tonya); step-sisters, Debbie Lowy (David) and Cindy Southwell (John); and several nieces and...

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Greg McKenzie; sons, Allen McKenzie and Scott McKenzie; mother, Scottye Wallace (Junior); brother, Jason Howard (Christina); step-brother, Michael Wallace (Tonya); step-sisters, Debbie Lowy (David) and Cindy Southwell (John); and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Marvin Curvin.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Sears, John Waugh, Brian Frost, Tim Bentley, Carl Wilson, and Denny Bentley.

Mrs. McKenzie graduated from Ohatchee High School and attended Gadsden State Community College. She worked for the Anniston Army Depot for over 30 years, where she worked in the turbine engine shop and then as a supervisor for the co-op program. She was a member of Union Grove FCM. She was an avid camper and enjoyed fishing, and loved children.
